In this class you will learn why aromatherapy and essential oils work. You will delve into the science of essential oils and what their properties are, including the phytochemicals contained with them that make them work. You will gain knowledge about which essential oils are the most beneficial and have a diuretic effect, and also have an effect on the lymphatic fluids. You will learn how to use some of the essential oils with meridian points which make outcomes even more beneficial. You will learn about utilizing specific essential oils with lymphedema patients to neutralize secondary odors related to various lymphatic conditions, while preserving skin integrity. The class is taught in a way that everyone can understand the information. This class is hands-on, fun and educational and you'll discover that it is not your traditional aromatherapy class.
